Catch me if you can...

I am beat, I had to help Granny with a yard sale this weekend. So during the week I normally get up at 5:15 am to go to work...this weekend the yard sale started at 7 and she wanted me there at 7 so no sleeping in. I was up at 6am both Sat. and Sun. I can't believe that I didn't get anything around the house done either. I believe only one load of laundry got done. Our dumb college neighbors had a party Friday night and they weren't so bad but the noise they were making was enough to upset the dos who decided it was a smashing good Idea to bark all night long..... never enough sleep...I am sure I could sleep for the next three straight years and still not sleep enough.
We are going to Phoenix this weekend to stay at a resort/spa I think we are going to have a blast. It is just Frankie and thing 1 and 2 and myself, knuckles was going to come with us but as punishment for his little incident at school last week we decided that his not joining us would be proper punishment that wouldn't punish us all. When you ground a child like knuckles from TV, no one can watch TV because he doesn't care what he is watching as long as he is watching....we call it TOBO.....TV On, Brain Off...all you moms out there know exactly what I mean, so in essence it punishes us all because the TV has to remain off otherwise he is glued to it. Anyway I am going to try to take a nap before Frankie gets home and I will chat with you all later....bye internet....MUAH!

Weird pregnancy dreams....

Mary had the fantastic idea to share funny or weird pregnancy dreams, mine goes a little something like this....
I am laying on the delivery room table and my legs are up in the stirrups, I can see the doctors head in between my legs and my husband at the time is standing beside me holding my hand counting 1...2...3...4...we all remember the drill. The lights over head are bright and hot I feel as if the entire world is trying to squeeze out through my 19 year old vajay...and I am generally just scared out of my mind, with one last push the doctor stands up victorious and says "Congratulations Mrs. M It a girl" and my husband promptly says " Holy shit sweetheart you just gave birth to Quatto" Little back story for those of you who don't know who Quatto is, a little movie starring the Governor of California had recently come out called Total recall and the leader of the rebel army was an alien named Quatto who lived inside a mans stomach... I'm sure if you can search you tube and find his one appearance in the movie but I am at work and don't have access to streaming media (sorry)....Long story short...too late... my worst fear was that when my daughter was born she was going to resemble Quatto from the movie Total Recall....Funny or not the only other dreams I had while pregnant were the requisite cheating husband dreams...lol

Grenede?!?

So the phone rings....
Frankie..."Hello, yeah, you're kidding right , no, okay I'll be there soon."
Apparently knuckles tells his teacher at parks and rec that he has a grenade in his backpack and he is planning on blowing up the entire school and everyone in it.
The school evacuates and calls 911, keep in mind that knuckles is only 6 years old and even though he has a very vivid imagination probably doesn't even know what a real grenade would look like.
Long story short our son has been suspended from after school daycare. Can you say taking zero tolerance too far.

my frankie...

when i tell you i love you, i don't say it out of habit or to start a conversation. i say it to remind you that you're the best thing that's ever happened to me.....

Today's Headlines...

First of all I would like to say that I am a huge fan of America's next top model, I have watched every season with Thing 1 and our favorite thing to do is rip the girls apart and and argue about who we think is going to win and who isn't and why. Did anyone read about the new controversy surrounding this season? A transgender contestant... to me NO BIG DEAL!!! This has apparently caused quite a stir in the religious (and non-religious i suppose) community's. People feel that because someone has changed who they are they shouldn't be allowed to follow their dreams? This to me seems absurd!!! Last season when the "heavy" girl Whitley made it to the final 3 everyone said there was "NO WAY" that she would win, "Tyra has more sense than to get that poor girls hopes up like that" etc... well look at that, she won and she is actually working...imagine that! What is the big frickin' deal about a transgender? Isn't the point of being a model looking good in the clothes, or more appropriately...making the clothes look good? Does it matter that you were once a male and are now female or just that you make the clothes look good....I say "RIGHT ON TYRA!!!"

Quote of the week.....

One of my favorite quotes by John Mayer...(unfortunately)

"This is about all of us. Everyone of us. Who all seem to know deep down that it is incredibly hard to be alive and interact with the world around us but will try and cover it up at all cost. For as bad ass and unaffected as we try to come off, we are all just one sentence away from being brought to tears, if only it was worded differently....."
Today has been NUTS, I wish I could take a Do-Over..
On my way to the dermatologist to have little slices of my skin removed all for the good of my own body....right???
